Registration at the STS booth, 2015 Yoga show

The Shiatsu Therapy Society is pleased to offer our members a cost and risk free opportunity to promote their practice, build a client base, and most importantly, to show the public that shiatsu is alive and well! Please participate and help us make Shiatsu visible.

As you know, the Yoga Show is driven by the teaching of Yoga. Therefore, a good reason to book your shift now is the opportunity to work with the Yogi and Yogini, people who love working with their bodies. Students come out of class eager to find our shiatsu mats and a welcome relief for aches, pains and tired muscles. It’s a perfect match.

We will be doing 20 minute shiatsu treatments at $25.00 each session. The income split will be 50% / 50% – with no other cost or risk involved to the practitioner.

Past events:

We’re presently seeking Shiatsu therapists and practitioners of other modalities willing to provide their services pro bono for a charitable Health and Fitness Weekend at beautiful Camp Manitou. This is a fun-filled event for women, June 6-8, in memory of Linda Lewis , a Health and Fitness Weekend devotee, Wellspring volunteer and inspiration to many. Proceeds from the Weekend will benefit Wellspring,  a charity that supports people living with cancer. About 300 Toronto area women are expected at this $625/ ticket weekend charity event.

Volunteers would be provided all meals and accommodation in comfy rustic log cabins. As well, there will be time for you to enjoy the beautiful nature setting, meet people and participate in some of the retreat activities. Therapists would need to bring their own tables / mats. Linens are provided. We’re also looking to organize shared rides to the location in Parry Sound.
